These Terms govern your use of the Alcheta app and service ("Alcheta", "we", "us"), provided by Comtra Engineering GmbH, Uferstrasse 70, 4057 Basel, Switzerland (CHE-320.331.298). By creating an account or using Alcheta, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Alcheta lets you capture receipts, have their details extracted automatically, review and approve them, and export them. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
You keep all rights to the receipts and data you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you (including automated extraction). You are responsible for having the right to upload Your Content and for its lawful use.
Alcheta uses automated models to read receipts. Extraction may be incomplete or incorrect; you must review and approve every result before relying on it. Alcheta is a tool for organising and exporting receipts and is not tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are responsible for the correctness of data you submit to authorities or third parties.
You agree not to: upload content you have no right to; use the service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights; attempt to breach security, probe, or disrupt the service; abuse rate limits or automated access; or reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law.
We aim to keep Alcheta available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may suspend or modify the service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons. We may update these Terms; for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email, and continued use after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service in a way that harms others or us. You may stop using Alcheta and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. content licence limits, liability, governing law) survive termination.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. This does not exclude warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law (including consumer law).
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Where liability is not excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the CISG. The courts at the seat of Comtra Engineering GmbH have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that give you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
If you download Alcheta from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply. For Apple, the standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA) applies, Apple is not responsible for the app or support, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms entitled to enforce them.
